"Connecting to the Present: Creating an Intentional Life, Using Present Moment Awareness"
Join Nancy Jane Smith, a licensed professional counselor and consultant from central Ohio, as she talks about living in the present and being fully in the moment. One day we might feel completely present to ourselves, our children, our friends. The next day we are living in our heads, thinking about our schedules, running from thing to thing. Living in the present moment takes practice and time, and one of the best ways to achieve it is through rituals.

Meet the Author/Book Signing
"Second Blooming for Women: Growing a Life That Matters After Fifty"
E. L. "Betsy" Smith, co-author of the just-released book Second Blooming for Women: Growing a Life That Matters After Fifty, will be on the Ohio State Columbus campus to present a short talk, take questions and offer copies of the book for sale.
Every fifth person in the United States is a woman over 50, though society still tells us that youth and beauty trump age and experience. Smith and co-author Kathleen Vestal Logan coach women to consciously and purposefully plan their future through guided reflection, personal assessments and action plans. The authors share successful strategies for women over 50 to stay visible by living fulfilling lives.
This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
